TheVitaPCR^TM Instrument is a rapid molecular POCT platform utilizing a real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) amplification technology for the processing and analysis of VitaPCR^TM tests.

The VitaPCR^TM SARS-CoV-2 Assay, performed on the VitaPCR^TM Instrument, is a rapid molecular in vitro diagnostic test utilizing a real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) amplification technology. It is used for the qualitative detection and discrimination of SARS-CoV-2 viral RNAs in direct nasopharyngeal (NP) or oropharyngeal (OP) swabs from patients with signs and symptoms of respiratory infection who are suspected of COVID-19. The test allows the detection of SARS-CoV-2 in approximately 20 minutes.

The VitaPCR^TM Flu A&B Assay also available for the use with the VitaPCR^TM Instrument, is a rapid molecular in vitro diagnostic test utilizing a real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) amplification technology for the qualitative detection and discrimination of influenza A and B viral RNA in nasal and nasopharyngeal swabs from patients with signs and symptoms of respiratory infection.
